Until proven otherwise, Bayern Munich chose the wrong coach. The club is just gambling on the future of the club by appointing a relatively inexperienced coach. I have tried to uncover the criteria that Bayern used to appoint him and it is difficult to find any outstanding reason. Was it because Vincent Kompany had experience with the Bundesliga during his days in Hamburg or because he speaks German fluently. Was it because of his performance in the Championship last season? Why didn't they evaluate him with his present days with Burnley which led them to relegation?

Some pundits have argued that successful coaches like Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso don't have any coaching experience, but they are doing well in their clubs. So we don't have to write off Bayern Munich because, with the right players and support, the Kompany can do the extraordinary. I think Bayern Munich will still be a contender for the number one spot in the Bundesliga.

Tuchel job as Bayern Munich coach is now finished, he is coach who is actually quite great and experienced but in matching Leverkusen stability they were unable to surpass him.
Now Vincent Kompany has officially replaced Tuchel as coach of Bayern Munich and interviews conducted show that Vincent Kompany is really enthusiastic and can't wait to build and lead Bayern Munich, which is Bundesliga giant.
Official statement issued by Bayern Munich shows that the contract agreed to for Vincent Kompany is for 3 season and clearly this is enough time for Vincent Kompany to be able to show his performance as coach worthy of Bayern Munich.

Maybe Bayern Munich would like to have coach like Leverkusen with Xabi who is still young and really capable of showing strong performance.
Vincent Kompany is young coach who also has experience in leading two European team such as Anderlecht and Burnley.
