The charges against Manchester City have gone on for quite a long time but with the current situation I'm not sure they will receive a severe punishment even if they are found guilty and they could even get away with a lot of charges at the moment 
It can't be denied that Manchester City is a big club and the advantage the EPL has when Manchester City is in the competition is obviously huge so in this case I honestly doubt the charges will end with a tragic end for Manchester City just like some other clubs last season like Everton or Nottingham Forrest.
On the other hand for betting it seems reasonable especially for next season clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and maybe even Manchester United will experience a transition with a new coach so it will be difficult to predict their performance will be immediately good with a new coach at the start of the season.

On the one hand, City has become a big brand and they were even able to win the Champions League once, but on the other hand, the presence of cheaters in the competition harms other clubs - the Premier League has literally turned into a farmers' league. Taking into account the fact that the league itself is now fighting against the City (one might say a collection of businessmen who suffered from an unscrupulous competitor), there is hope that justice will prevail.
Regardless of whether you like it or not when talking about trophies now the word farming is actually quite illustrated from the acquisition of trophies that Manchester City have gotten in the last few seasons it's just that this is a little covered with competition which is indeed very good because not only 1 or 2 clubs are always surprising in the EPL but there are always interesting matches every week which makes sometimes the final result of the trophy a little left but seeing from the achievements that Manchester City have in the last few seasons it is actually not wrong to say that this has become a farming league for them because they always manage to get trophies.
