The best "cure" to the problem is to educate people that buying this crap is a waste of money and a con. That would eliminate the incentive to create it in the first place.
I think you have too much fate in people knowing how to do the right thing. Give them a free McDonalds burger and some fries, and many will agree to do whatever you want.
Sure, plenty of fools will still buy stupid images, even when people like us are screaming at them that it's an incredibly stupid thing to do. Thing is, people can either learn the easy way or the hard way. The people who buy this shit are eventually going to learn the hard way when they lose their money. Sooner or later, people
will be educated. It's just better if we can expedite that process. Maybe save a few victims in the process.
