Besides PSG should be out of his mind already. Just as you said playing in the Ligue 1 by leaving the Premier League doesn't make sense. It is a big prestige loss. He is showing his skills much more comfortably in his current place. It is going to be really difficult for PSG to convince players in similar situation in my opinion. After Mbappe's departure they have got much weaker and they will need to find a solution to this until leagues start again.

Basically, at least Julian Alvarez is still the first choice for Manchester City's main squad but strangely, Julian Alvarez wants to leave and I think that's a very absurd statement. But,  ifJulian Alvarez really intends to get a newchallenge, then playing for any team in anyleague is not a problem. Because anyway, the problem and the question is,  how canJulian Alvarez want to leave while he always gets a place in Manchester City's main squad.What's more,  Manchester City is also a big team that always promises to win trophies every season but unfortunately, it seems like Julian Alvarez is not comfortable being at Manchester City,I think that's strange.
His decision of wanting to leave can due to the way he's being treated at the club to the salary and wages that he's earning and wants to leave for a greener pasture and also could be a matter of the individual player wanting changing of environment, Therefore, If a player decides to leave a particular club for another, the best thing management should is that he should be given that opportunity beacause
refusing him will not really do team any good as he won't be playing with he's total mind strength because he had lost interest spending at the club.
