There is no other way for Barcelona other than to follow this path, but it requires a long process with all the risks for a team as big as Barcelona.
From the past few seasons we can see that there has been no significant progress in the performance of the Barcelona team and for next season they will have a new coach, which means progress will start from the beginning again so it does not rule out the possibility that Barcelona will have a long road to go back to top performance, to be honest I'm a little pessimistic because their rivals Real Madrid have built a team that is much better prepared than Barcelona.
How els would you want a team to progress than that which they have been doing even with the struggles around the team, whenever you people say Barcelona is not progressing, it only undermines the efforts of xavi which was obviously a very good one to making Barcelona great again but because it appears slow it was looking like there was no progress meanwhile Barcelona has got constraints amidst which xavi was still making some good progress, even in this poor form of theirs, they never finished a season below top three, maybe we will need to redefine what we see as progress for these teams maybe it will give us better perspective into what we should expect before seeing the team as been progressive.

There are other team's who does not have the same challenge as Barcelona yet they are doing poorly and Barcelona is still able to always maintain a decent finish, I mean they aren't that so bad, I will really love to see how better the new coach will do with Barcelona than xavi did then I will be able to see if the comparison y'all have madee since his exit was really worth it, because for me he has been one of the beach Barcelona has had and even the management cannot deny it.
