There should be in the future "a filing for proof of claims" which means you have to watch mtgox.com to file the claim by filling the document when necessary.

I've got $916 and 543btc left at gox to put things in perspective...don't eat yourself too much because of your 1700eur you still young and can make yours back easily and much more... just be optimistic and think positively and everything will work out.
