I think so, De Rossi has proven that when he first managed Roma replacing Jose Mourinho, many people doubted De Rossi, but De Rossi was actually able to improve Roma's performance.

Roma has starting this season with poor performance and under Mourinho Roma only able to gets 7 wins from 20 matches in Serie A even at that time Roma only can occupy 9th place and seems Roma target to reach to European Zone will be so hard so that's why Roma has decided to sack Mourinho because he was failing to meet their expectations and everything was change when Roma has decided to hire De Rossi as the replacement of Mourinho because under De Rossi Roma has rapid progress and he can lifted up Roma position from 9th place to 6th place and now Roma is deserved to playing at Europa League for next season

For Roma owner this improvement means a lot so that's why on April they were decided to extended De Rossi contract because they thought for long term De Rossi can give positive impact to this team and previously Roma hasn't set high target for De Rossi because although Roma was ended this season without the trophies but they still gave De Rossi a contract extension and i am not Roma fans but i am quite excited to see the performance of Roma for next season especially after De Rossi decided to make major changes in this team and i think if these changes have a positive impact on Roma then probably Roma can finish at top 4 next season

There will be no substantial changes for Roma because roma is not doing overhaul to the its squad. Roma was merely seeking a new defender and that's it. Chiesa will join Roma as a new defender to bolster the squad, but I doubt Roma will do as well as they did last season following some important players that decided to left form the club.
It should be emphasized that Lukaku is departing the club when his loan with Roma expires. Chelsea was not keen in giving lukaku as a loan to the another club
