Probably because it’s his first deposit that’s why the support doesn’t emphasize the first deposit part since there will be no wagering on the next deposit.

As long as the ToS indicates that x5 wagering only applies on first deposit and they are following it firmly then there’s nothing wrong with the support reply. But it’s really hassle free and to avoid confusion to emphasized it since this x5 wagering requirements is always the issue of this casino ever since they introduced here in the forum.
