Not that I rate Halaand way too high as city or other football fans do but I will say he deserved everything he was nominated for after that breakthrough season. He had just gone on to score above 31 premier league goals which was something that even the great Ronaldo wasn’t able to do in the Premier League and then banged a total goals of above 50 in all competitions winning the highest goal scorer in all competitions he participated in. This to me definitely deserves the Ballon D’or except someone matches the stats or betters it.
