He said he wants it retire when he is at the peak of his career which means he wants to leave when the ovation is high. I think his decision is highly commendable and I respect him for that. He doesn't want to be a liability or at the mercy of any club. And he should be given accolades because he is not money-conscious. He had been offered a new contract and would have easily gotten a better deal in the US or Saudi Arabia but he chose to hang his boot.
