In my opinion, the management and club officials were ready for all the risks when they decided to choose Kompany. Even though expectations for the former Burnley manager are relatively low, the fact is that Kompany has world class players in his squad, which should make his job easier. It is natural for Bayern Munich fans to feel anxious, because Kompany reputation has not really been tested before. I think Kompany is very aware of this, and Kompany certainly realizes that it will not be easy to rebuild Bayern Munich dominance which was broken by Leverkusen last season.
