In the encounter Germany needed draw, and they got it to top the ground A, it was a very difficult game for them, the Switzerland is a very good team, well organised in the defence and Germany finds it very hard to penetrate it. The late minute goal gave Germany and edge to escape Spain in thr knockout stage. Switzerland will have to wait for the game between Italy vs Croatia to know their next opponent in the round of 16.
Italy will qualify to the next stage, i don't see Croatia winning this game, they had not won any game in the competition, they played poorly and Italy are really in form. It will be interesting game but I'll stake on Italy to win.
Germany and Switzerland both need a draw to qualify for the group phase and it is realistic for Switzerland that it will be difficult for them to beat Germany so this draw is fair enough for both of them to qualify from the group phase.
But Croatia also shouldn't be underestimated, they have a lot of experienced players who can be dangerous for Italy, I think Croatia and Italy still have the same percentage to qualify, because no matter what, Croatia is still a great team in Europe that cannot be underestimated.
