I think it is pretty clear that there is an effect on kids if there is a casino close to a school.

It's similar to laws that don't allow pubs or bottle shops near a school.

It's pretty obvious really. You don't want to have people with minds still in development to be unnecessarily addicted to certain things.

For sure there is an effect on young generation and that effect is really bad for everyone involved in gambling from an early age. I'm 100% against casinos near educational institutions and here in Romania we have this problem where across the street of a school , we have not one , now two but over 3 booking houses near each other and it's sad because I'm sure they will let those kids bet from time to time and that's why lately we have new laws that forbids bookies to be opened near high schools and schools.

However , this new generation will snatch their ID from their parents and simply open an account with their email and so on ...then simply go to malls where they have pre-point ATMs and simply charge their booking account from there without using a credit card or walk into that booking to make a deposit and in this way they trick the law. Hopefully , in near future this ATM's will remove this option.
