Vincent Kompany is a risk for Bayern Munich. I think this risk should not have been taken. They could have continued on their way with a more experienced and qualified coach. Offers were made to a few coaches and were not accepted. That's why they had to appoint Kompany as the head of the team. I hope Kompany will be successful because the squad he has is the best squad in the Bundesliga on paper. Taken those risks sometimes are what makes the team to be successful and give them that prestigious reputation they’ve been holding on to for a long time now. Bayern Munich is a successful team and Kompany is not a successful coach yet base on his experience and achievements so far he started coaching. A risk with him to me is a risk worth taken because, he won’t want to fail the team and will be at his best to deliver them well which will be an achievement to his name and also the team. He won’t want to be talked about as the coach that had the best squad in the league and failed to do anything meaningful with them. I won’t underrate him because anything can happen in football.

He needs to be at his best for the good of his future career and also need to be at his best for the good of the team to stand at a competitive position even after this season. This is not a matter of hoping or trying to do well next season, he must and should do well next season.
