I like the fact that despite Real Madrid wanting to make him stay, he made up his mind to leave and spend time with his family. In life, it's not everything is about money, you have to give it some thought to retire with respect and dignity, no wonder he remain one the best midfielders in Real Madrid. Even in the last final match against Dortmund, he made an incredible assist. He will forever be remembered as one of the legend of Real Madrid.

Toni Kroos is one football superstar that's achieved almost everything every footballer can ever dream of. Apart from not winning the Balon D'or, the German international have won every trophy that a professional footballer can ever win including the FIFA World Cup and six UEFA Champions League titles. For a player of his age and current fitness, retiring from the beautiful game of football at this time was very surprising but because we can't question his decision to have quality time with his family, I think we all should respect his decision.
The German international is currently with the national team at the ongoing UEFA Euros Championship but will be quitting from professional football after the European championship. Hopefully he comes back in the future either as a football manager or in football administrative positions.

He quits football at a very young age and retires. At his age, I think he will still play at the top level and play for at least 1-2 more seasons. Of course, family is more important than anything else. If Kroos made such a decision, we must respect it until the end. I think he will return to the field soon and technically, he can become a coach. Maybe he has the football intelligence to create a Xabi effect. Kroos may have a good coaching career in his future. His football career is already amazing.
