It is wise for Manchester United not to want to pay high transfer fees. They finally managed to think logically because if English teams want a player, he is sold for more expensive prices than usual. Let's think of Antony, for example. What individual talents led him to be purchased at this transfer fee? Even a quality offensive player like Antony could be found for an average of 15-20 million Euros.
I am not sure whether it is wise or not. But the market price of Osimhen is €100m and Napoli management has decided to set the minimum price at €150m. If Man United wants to sign Osimhen, they must spend €150m. FYI, PSG already made an offer at €130m but it was unsuccessful. Anyway, the condition isn't the same as Antony. Antony highest market value was €75m and his current market value is €25m. Osimhen and Antony are not comparable, but I think it is untrue if Antony can be signed at 15-20 million euros.

I have said this before and actually I agree more if Osimhen stays and appears with Conte to gain greater experience than choosing Lukaku.
Of course, Osimhen knows well Napoli team, he won't have difficulty to perform with his best. If Lukaku becomes the striker, he may not fit with the game style of Napoli. Even if Conte knows the potential of Lukaku, it doesn't guarantee Lukaku is suitable to play as a striker in Napoli. So Osimhen should be the best option for Napoli striker next season.

But the more rumors spread, the more I become convinced that Osimhen will soon leave Napoli, but with a transfer fee of under €130m.
It is impossible if Osimhen will leave Napoli with under €130m. PSG already offered €130m but it was rejected by Napoli. It doesn't make sense if Napoli will accept the offer below €130m.
