No team have done a better scouting than Real Madrid in the recent decades and this has made me believe in their potential in all that they’ve strive in. Real Madrid is still the best club in terms of grooming potential young players and having them play for the team for a very long time. Barcelona use to be a very strong team and always standing at a competitive position with Real Madrid but with what has been transpiring in Barcelona and how their season went poorly for them that even lead to the sacking of their coach is a sign of their retard performance and they need all it takes to make themselves back to the the level that Real Madrid are. They are still in that period of financial constraints, maybe when they’re out of it, it’ll pave way for them to do well henceforth.

I disagree with you about Madrid grooming young players, if we look at the number of players that have actually been promoted through the academy ranks of clubs to the senior team I think we will find it hard to get at least three in the current squad for next season, many of the academy players are even leaving to somewhere else to get playing time at senior level.

One thing I will give credit to Florentino Perez for is his ability this days to scout prospects from other clubs and buying them. In the past they usually buy already experienced players and much older ones but right now go for the younger ones but that doesn’t mean they groomed them.

Barcelona at the moment do not Look like a club that will challenge the European champions. The financial crisis they are currently in have stop them from matching the strength of Real Madrid their biggest rival. Their other undoing is the fact that they have jerks at the helm of their affairs, giving out unnecessary wages to players that aren’t worth it. Their academy La Masia which was once the most successful isn’t anymore like what it used to be. Barcelona to me have too many non football related issues to solve before they can come and match with Real Madrid at the moment
