It is wise for Manchester United not to want to pay high transfer fees. They finally managed to think logically because if English teams want a player, he is sold for more expensive prices than usual. Let's think of Antony, for example. What individual talents led him to be purchased at this transfer fee? Even a quality offensive player like Antony could be found for an average of 15-20 million Euros.
Strangely we all know Premier League clubs are having history of huge spendings with mostly are never pay good return to them but still they are never thinking about this all and still doing things which are not favourable for them specially in this case we have Manchester United one of the worst club for bringing players on over price and then ending their career on bad note but now in Victor Osimhen case things are looking better because having tag of this huge amount is not ideal with his current performance and having players who are developing like Joshua Zirkzee is surely much better option.
Now after end of the Euro things could be pretty clear about many players and surely then we will have few better players on better price hopefully Manchester United and Premier League other clubs will be done some wise decisions, and we will have better players on average price for them instead of having things like they have done in past without using better mind.
Man United should learn from their mistakes in signing new players because they don't have much of a budget this season, so if once again they make wasted purchases, then that will not only be detrimental to them but will also make it even more difficult for them to improve. I think they need to move fast in the transfer window, especially for matters relating to the sales agreement of the players on their selling list, or they should not beat around the bush when the offers come, so that way they will get additional fresh funds.
