Getting some attention from forum members isn't going to give them anything, or maybe they just like getting attention regardless of it being positive or negative.

I mean, his motives are clear - money. As for the methods, he tried them all - from begging, loan requests, making up sympathy stories, outright scam attempts... the whole grifter playbook. He's about as subtle as a brick to the face, and probably too stupid to come up with an original idea on his own.
