Pepe’s mistake almost cost them everything but thank goodness the goalkeeper saved it else we would be seeing different headlines about how Ronaldo made Portugal lose because of the penalty. Mistakes are bound to happen and it can happen to anyone but i am hearing people saying Ronaldo and Pepe shouldn’t be included in the squad they are old, these are people that gives everything for their country and other players are learning from them.

Maybe the coach could have done a good thing by taking them when the game was extended to 120 minutes. Pepe is now very old and has difficulty keeping up with that tempo. He's not ready to play 120 minutes. I can't say the same for Ronaldo, but I think Ronaldo could last 120 minutes, he can last one more match. Also, Jan Oblak saved Ronaldo's penalty, but Ronaldo did not kick the penalty. That's why I think it remains an unfortunate moment. I think Ronaldo is a legend who should be on the field.
