Atalanta has been consistent in the past two seasons and has qualified for European competition. In the 2021-2022 season, they ended the league in the eighth position. But the club kept believing in the ability of coach Gian Piero Gasperini and they are currently the Europa League champions. Seeing them in the Champions League is also a welcome development and I hope they will show the same quality they put in the Europa League where they ended Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten run in a ground style.
