Has anyone had the same experience before?
I have experienced something like this. My losses come when I expect more from gambling or when I need to win. I tried again and again but could never win there. But sometimes I have a record of big winnings when I gamble not to win but as a lottery without giving any importance. I have since believed that if I gamble more actively it causes me to lose more. But even though I know I can't gamble like that because I gamble sometimes because I need to win. If one gambles less then the amount of winnings will increase and if the winnings are not much then the amount of losses in gambling will definitely decrease.
Same what happened with me and my wife but I think it is only in our heads and there are still times that we think we can win and turns out that we are correct, while there are also times that we expect less and then we lose. We never talked about this often because they are only a common scenario. You expect less in a lottery game, maybe because you know that its odds are so high but you got lucky to win.
It is still great to think that gambling less often leads to high chances of winning because it makes us to gamble less and in case it didn't came into reality, at least we only lose less and the chance for us to get addicted is going to be less as well.
