In the presale you can buy a token or coin for as cheap as possible and obviously, people made tons of money and even they made huge without even investing real money by just participating in airdrops and giveaways but that golden age was over in 2018 after that success becomes rare so obviously you need to risk your capital to make the potential profits.

Usually that's really the case for some investors that's why a lot of them trying to get a whitelist spot so they could buy those tokens at cheaper rate as they can. But risk taker investor should know that its not always like that since lots of scammers are taking advantage with the hype and they try to catch the attention of people to lure and scam their hard earned money.

So before counting their potential profit for getting early spot on the project. Much better for those investor to verify first the background of the project especially the identity of the project owner so that they would have at least certain indicator that the project is operated by real people.
