To be honest with you guys, I can see some memecoin projects are also attempting to build actual utility beyond just being a meme. Like bringing dapps with gamified functionalities, project own app and more... So, i'm thinking there might be more onto these memecoins.
You see as utility but I do see as "traps". Yeah, we had 1000s of altcoins and tokens and 90% of them promised about real world application but zero ended up real life utility. You may show some example from the past but the overall percent of projects which keeps their words up is almost near to zero; I mean exceptions cannot be considered to risk our money. So, staying away is highly recommended. Basically the trend of memecoins may disappear very soon.
I would start to look at meme coins more seriously, I could even think about investing in them
I do not think that you would get a chance to test your capital with memecoins. 99% of altcoin devs are scammers who ruined the entire industry and also degraded the reputation of bitcoin market as well. Very soon that we can expect altcoin industry to start falling down due to lack of support from investors. I guess it is surviving till date because of new investors but awareness will spread and new investors also will start avoiding altcoins sooner.
