Well, as much as I agree with all that you have said, I will like to also emphasize on the fact that France and Spain did not win their match against Germany and Portugal respectively; as a result of luck, France is a known football nation, they are very good, France played in the finals against Argentina in the 2023 world.
Spain as well plays very well, they are simply good with football.
So, for teams like this, I usually do not attribute their winning their matches to luck, because they have the skill, and with their skill, they can beat any team who's skills doesn't match up to theirs.
If anyone watched these matches of Spain and France, it's easy to recognize that there is big luck factor for their winnings. France were lucky that Portuguese players did not score winning goals with opportunities they created in the match and at penalty spot, Joao Felix nearly did everything perfect but he was unlucky to hit the goal-post.
Spain? They were lucky too as if German players finished better and were lucky, they would have score 2 or 3 goals in that quarter final match and Spain would have not win that match with a goal from Merino.
Both Spain and France are strong, played not too bad or say played well but they actually got luckiness to win these quarter final matches. Germany and Portugal have many reasons to regret with these defeats as they got chances to win but wasted it.
Netherlands wins, Türkiye loses. Türkiye's struggle has ended and they deserve high appreciation after being underestimated in the previous match against Austria. In the match against the Netherlands, Türkiye played well, but luck was not on their side. The Dutch dominated the match and launched many attacks, but the decisive goal was an own goal from a Turkish player which was very painful in the end.
Türkiye had many reasons to complain before and after this match with the strict ban on Demiral. Jude Bellingham got a ban but can complete it after Euro 2024 but Demiral got an instant ban that takes effect immediately during Euro 2024 and missed this quarter final match. That decision from UEFA is funny and controversial and in my opinion, it's unfair for Türkiye.
Netherlands played good but their winning will be more convincing if there is no ridiculous ban from UEFA on Demiral.
