It only makes sense if Chelsea can win - otherwise Osimhen will only ruin his career, especially if he stays there for long. If he needs to win, it's a mistake to move to Chelsea. He needs to choose another club that can most likely at least win their league and who are decent in the Champions League. It's obvious that the presence of Victor Osimhen at Napoli isn't needed any longer and that's because the club manager in his interview last month said that the club is open to any good offer that'll see the Nigeria international leave the club but that's not the issue at hand now. When asked about the future of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli Boss Antonio Conte was fast to say how the club doesn't have tne intentions of selling the Georgian.
I've seen a report that suggests about Napoli's readiness to sign Victor Osimhen Chelsea's striker Romelu Lukaku on loan this summer of which i personally think Chelsea should maximize that opportunity to add the signing of Victor Osimhen on permanent basis to any transfer clause that'll see Romelu Lukaku join Napoli. I believe Victor Osimhen will solve Chelsea's problems in the striker's position.

Osimhen future is still very confusing, with the President of Napoli apparently continuing to play a game of price tug-of-war with interested clubs, previously it was reported that Chelsea had withdrawn from the competition to get the services of the Nigerian international striker. Most recently, Napoli are reportedly willing to reduce Osimhen price, and rumors are growing that Napoli have contacted Chelsea regarding the possibility of Osimhen transferring to Stamford Bridge.

Apart from that, Napoli have confirmed that Kvaratskhelia is not released, even though PSG are very interested in signing him. Napoli will suffer an even worse setback if their two mainstay players leave, Conte can't do much if that happens. Meanwhile, Chelsea may sacrifice one of their strikers if they manage to get Osimhen.

I am sure that Napoli will eventually release Osimhen, and will use the benefits of this transfer to support Conte plans to build depth in the Napoli squad. Conte interest in Lukaku allows Chelsea to get Osimhen via barter, I think that is the right way.
