I actually like the fact that the Arsenal club is actually giving Arteta a lot of money so that he can bring in good results. And the thing is, they had to put in so much money if they actually wanted to compete against a club like Manchester City. And they are bringing in good results. Right now they are actually comparable with Manchester City. Which was definitely not something we could say about Arsenal a few years ago.
But the thing is going into the next season, is not going to have anything to say to defend themselves if they are unable to win the English Premier League title. They have been showing promise since the last three seasons. This is high time Arteta's squad should be consistent enough and win the English Premier League title. If you cannot do well under pressure, you probably do not deserve to win the title by the way.
After having two impressive seasons in Premier League with their performance now things are looking at the top and Arsenal management which is already having change of their strategy having good faith in Mikel Arteta for his performance and improvement which is helping this club for having two consecutive years at the second spot even both times they were near the win of the title as well so look like in this season they will try their best for win of the title and strong challenge for the Manchester City just because of this funding is increased, and they are having all players which they were looking for strengthening their squad.
With the current development which is happening around the Premier League we are having just two teams which will fight for the title because all other teams are having changes which need time for having impact on team performance, so this is going to two-way race with Manchester City is having advantage and Arsenal needs to compete with them for the title another time.
