Surprisingly, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has decided to remain in Napoli. PSG will give him a more lucrative contract than Napoli and the French club will be featuring in the Champions League this season. Many players will not turn down such an offer from the rich Qatari-owned club. I don't know what Antonio Conte and Aurelio De Laurentiis have promised Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and his agent Mamuka Jugeli that is making the Georgian reject PSG. Maybe he would become the highest-paid player on the club which might be a good motivation. But there is nothing money and the opportunity to play in the Champions League cannot do. I suspect that Napoli might allow him to go if PSG increases the transfer fee. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has never won the UCL, PSG might be a good platform to achieve that feat.

Of course going to PSG would have being the best for him because he will have the chance to play in Champion League all the time but that does not mean that he will have the chance of winning UCL because when PSG had the players which are Messi, Mbappe and Neymar PSG was unable to win UCL. Only Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will not be able to make PSG win UCL. Napoli is a good club and maybe he wants to play under Conte and hope that Napoli will qualify for UCL next two seasons so that he can display his potential for another big club to buy him but not PSG.

I never insinuated that only Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will make PSG win the UEFA Champions League. My point is that every player's dream is to win the UCL and PSG which has already qualified will grant the Georgian a better opportunity to win the title. If he remains in Napoli, they would have to struggle to get to the top four position and there is no guarantee that they can achieve it. In the last UCL competition, PSG was knocked out in the semi-finals while Napoli left in the second round. This shows that in terms of quality, the French side has a better squad. Qatar Sports Investments can put in more money in signing quality players than Aurelio De Laurentiis. Luis Enrique is already used to the PSG team while Antonio Conte will have to build the Napoli team from the foundation. If you take a look at these facts, it will be clear that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has a better chance of winning the UCL in PSG than Napoli. The belief that Antonio Conte will make the club successful seems to be overestimated because he is not a magician.
