I totally agree with you. Bayern Munich was too proud and treated coaches badly thinking their name and money would make coaches forget. But many coaches like Roger Schmidt saw truth and refused to work with them. It is not about money coaches want respect. Vincent Kompany is in tough spot and it's hard to see him succeeding unless he wins almost every game. Bayern Munich bad culture and lack of support for coaches will likely lead to another failure. Club needs to look at what they are doing wrong and create positive environment where coaches and players feel valued.
Bayern has always been focused on the best players and the best coaches, perhaps we underestimate Kompany, I doubt that Bayern would decide to hire a bad coach, they understand the importance of such a decision too well to risk their reputation. Changing coaches is a normal phenomenon, it would seem even for Dortmund, which reached the Champions League final, but even they had to look for another coach.
