Assuming he is still the coach we might want to see how he would have being able to challenge Real Madrid with Mabppe in their team, you should also know that it was difficult for Barcelona to win Real Madrid last season. With the change of coach nobody knows what will be the fate of Barcelona because they are broke assuming they would have pump funds into the market to also equipped their team to the standard of Real Madrid. Mbappe will do better in Real Madrid because he has all the players to make scoring easier for him.

To be honest, Barcelona's squad is far behind Real Madrid's at the moment. Real Madrid had a stable squad. And with the addition of a talented and experienced player like Mbappe to the squad, Madrid's squad is now even stronger. On the other hand, Barcelona's squad is relatively weak.

Barcelona sacked Xavi and put Hansi Flick in charge of the team. Hansi Flick is an experienced coach. However, Barcelona's squad now lacks experienced players. Barcelona have a lot of young talented players in their squad. If Hansi Flick is able to develop these players with experience then we will see better performances from this Barcelona squad very quickly.
