I understand that you are seeing Manchester United as a supposed big team of which by their track record which you briefly retraced, this can be made substantial but a quick look at the UEL last season and you will agree to the fact that eve the top teams couldn't Make it to lifting the trophy, Liverpool was one of the most highlighted team in the last season UEL but even in their tough and good form, they couldn't last till the end of the season, that has made me believe that the chances Manchester United eventually wins the Europa isn't of any certainty rather it's in almost what I consider equal measures with almost every other team who happens to be in the tournament. So with Manchester United my expectations are just as same as with every other team in the league.

The last time that Manchester United won the Europa League competition they weren't playing the way they are playing now and their attacking force was far better than what we are seeing now likewise the defensive line. The team may have all the experience in the competition but it takes a team with good performance and consistency in winning matches to advance to the finals of a competition but I don't see that ability in the Manchester United team right now unless they get better.

You have given a typical example to what happened last season when everyone expected Liverpool to be the favorite team to lift the Europa League trophy but we saw them being eliminated and Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen advancing to the finals, United can win the Europa next season if they improve in performance but it is not certain because there are other good clubs in the competition.
