I know where Frankolala is coming from. If you can remember vividly, the first season that Eric ten hang came to Manchester United, he won almost all the matches of the pre-season and that season he ended 3rd in the league. In the next season he started losing matches in the pre-season, and we all said that it was an ordinary pre-season match at the main season will be different, lo and behold the main season in was no different.
