It's not only a matter of what your friend said, it's a general thing that happens to Gamblers. And I guess it's not only gamblers but in every aspect of life. Whatever thing you do and put all your mind in, may never come to reality at that moment but later will, expecially when you are less concerned.

Many people who playing gambling will have the same experiences about playing gambling is not as what they imagine. They wants to wins the games and they already used more and more money but they can't still wins the games instead lose all of their money. That makes them desperate and feels that they already lost much money. If they can realizes about this and wants to reduce their gambling activities or even quit gambling forever, that will be a good decision so they can start a new life without playing gambling.

We must know that gambling can't gives the money we want instead just for have fun so we don't have to rely gambling or even make gambling as a sources of income. We can playing gambling but with limitation so we don't have to gets the bad effects from gambling because many people already gets that. We don't have to gets the same experience like them so we must be careful when playing gambling.
