No! This is not a problem for Manchester United, they have no interest in the player, they're only making possible inquires about the player if he'll suit them squad or whatever.
Secondly, they're in no Competition with Bayern Munich, nor do they have such intentions to go head for head with Bayern Munich for Jonathan Tah. It's simply clear, Bayern Munich wants Jonathan Tah and he also wants them. Not even Bayern Leverkusen would be able to stop him from moving.

De Ligt's signing might take time but I’m very sure that Manchester United will get him before the league starts, Let's be honest, if Manchester United doesn’t play very well with the squad they are about to gather now it will be a disgrace because Manchester United is the team that is buying players up and down, although we will not be expecting much from them because they need a time to build up their squad but at least they should be able to play well against some teams and able to win a trophy and qualify for the champion league.
