I think it's not just about gambling, because if you consider gambling to be negative then you can keep gambling activities away from children. Because basically every child will follow the behavior of their elders or their environment, so you shouldn't do other negative activities in front of your children, because maybe that will also have a negative impact on your children as time goes by.
