A change of coach will change the direction of the team's game, as has been the case with Ajax Amsterdam since Ten Hag left. The players who have worked with Ten Hag are very familiar with the tactics used by Ten Hag, their presence in the Ajax squad will probably be a thorn in the flesh for Ten Hag who is currently managing Manchester United. If Manchester United meets Ajax Amsterdam it will be a tough match for Ten Hag because the club he faces is very familiar with the tactics he uses, this situation is very beneficial for Ajax because they can read Ten Hag strategy and they can prepare how to overcome it.

The situation might be different if Ten Hag was able to improve Manchester United performance by bringing in quality players, the sharpness of the front line would make it difficult for Ajax to face Manchester United. Ten Hag will certainly work hard to achieve positive results because his career was saved after successfully leading Manchester United to win the FA Cup, but if he fails this season, Manchester United will not give him a second chance.

I understand that some Ajax players might know what Manchester United is going to bring against them because of the coach of Manchester United Ten Hag. But the thing is Ten Hag also knows that as well. So, he will be able to take enough precautions about that. And knowing how a coach used to go about things two years ago, might actually backfire because they might expect something from Manchester United but they face the other. Even though Ten Hag has not done great with Manchester United, I am at least expecting that he will understand what to do against Ajax. And I absolutely agree that if he does not do well with Manchester United this season, he is most probably not going to get another chance. But then again, we expected he is not going to get a chance this season as well, but he did.
