Well this morning I did as much as I could in the first set and I got 50 push ups. Just waiting for evening to see how many sets will take me to 100k. Then my report.
..so sometimes the improvements seem gradual, but if you are keeping track of your pushups you also might see changes in your times and your quantities.. which I have all of that information in my own personal pushup chart that shows the time of the pushup, the number of pushups and how many seconds per set.
Time (as in how many minutes per say) is incognito in my pushup all this while. I can imagine how negatively it must have affected me and my pushup days, personal activities etc (but then I will try using a timer this time around).
Here's the kind of pushup information that I am putting in my Excel spreadsheet every day, which shows that I did 5 sets of pushups on the 24th and a total of 275 pushups.
Date Total P_Ups P-Up/D RunTot # BTC Price T-1 Pushups Time T-2 Pushups Time T-3 Pushups Time T-4 Pushups Time T-5 Pushups Time
7/24/24 275 192.92 32989.5 171 $66,348 09:57 55 47 12:12 55 46 14:01 60 47 16:27 50 46 20:27 55 50
So I have the date, the total number of pushups, the average per day (calculated by Excel), the total calculated by excel, the number of days, the bitcoin price, then the time for each set, the number of pushups and how many seconds it took me to do that set of pushups.
Even though this list shows I had around 2 hours between each set, yet my last set of the day was 4 hours after my 4th set. Earlier I had to spread my pushups out throughout the day much more, but I am more able to do pushups with less rest time in recent times.
I am doing more pushups in recent days since I am trying to get (or keep) myself prepped up for potentially being able to do 10 sets in a day when BTC prices reaches the next ATH, 15 sets in a day when BTC price reaches $85k to $87k and 20 sets in a day when BTC price reaches $100k.. and yeah maybe I will attempt to do 1,000 pushups in a day when I am doing the 20 sets in a day, but not sure if I will be able to accomplish that... but I have some better ideas now about my potential to do 1,000 pushups in a day since I have been working up towards that in recent times (and previously it seemed like a fantasy to do 500 pushups in a day, but I already did that on the 22nd of July...so, in terms of my own time and schedule and activities, maybe the last couple of weeks I have had a bit more abilities to prepare myself more than I was able to do prior to that.
I woke up this morning with the realisation that I never did any pushups last night - I was that dog tired I never even gave them a second thought. Undeterred, I set about doing five sets of twelve in the hour after I got up. The first two sets were very laborious. The third got better then the fourth and fifth sets I was back into a satisfying rhythm.
I'm going to have to be more mindful that I don't miss any sets.

There seems to be a certain truth to having fewer pains when the pushup sets are more regular...and in that regard, sometimes it can take a while to get up to the new level of comfort, and maybe it the comfort is too comfortable, then there could be a sign to increase something (for example, changing the number of pushups per set, the number of sets or maybe changing the way that pushups are done to make them more difficult).
