Well your points isn't perfectly understood but I know that the attractive nature of gambling isn't mainly in it's simplicity because there are other simple games out there who gets less engagement like gambling, rather what gives gambling the attraction the most is it's rewarding nature when you are lucky, but on days when you aren't, it can be really rough but mainly the testimonies of others as it regards the reward gotten of gambling, has been the fueling factor that attracts so many others into gambling.

Without a doubt the reason gambling games are attractive is because of the possibility to earn some money when you win, and this is very obvious as if you have ever tried to play a gambling game with play money, you will soon realize how boring they really are.

Unlike a video game or a board game which you can play simply for the sake of it, and get a great deal of entertainment without spending any more money than what you spent in order to get them.

In my opinion, of course, the fact that a player can win real money, as well as lose the money he earns, greatly increases the overall attractiveness of gambling for all people in general.
Just games for fun and without winnings/losses, which are real money, can of course entertain the people playing them, but in any case, the emotional component of such a game, which I would call just a game, or rather not a gambling game, is of course very much inferior to that storm passions and experiences that a player experiences from gambling. This is especially characteristic of such a game of chance, when the bets in the game are calculated in amounts that are already quite significant for a given player.
