Oh no you can't mine merit, but you can literally earn it though. By contributing to the forum , but inorder for you to be able to do that you have to take your time to learn more about how bitcoin works and also how things work in this forum. Though it may take sometime but at the end you will surely see it all worth it .

Agreed! Discipline and self-learning are keys that open many possibilities both in life and on this forum. By improving on others' threads, OP can then go further with trying something new or their own in theme, and improve upon that as well.
