Exactly, having nothing that gives you money on a monthly basis and trying to make gambling a source of income might set you up for disappointments, a lot of people make the mistake of trying to fixate their mindset of seeing gambling as a way to make daily profit, this is only going to make you desperate and lose the little you have..in my experience the people that make more profit in this regard are people that have streams of income, they always have funds to spare and even if they lose they can easily fund their account again without it affecting them at all

Gambling can never be the only means of earning. And we are fools if we think that we will make money from gambling. If I think like this, I will be in a very good mood on the day I earn money. But the day I lose money I will be in a very bad mood. And I will probably misbehave with everyone around me. It will have bad effects in my family.
