They played so great in the playoffs without Randle, of course it will be good if he was there, but not sure what will be the outcome of that series.

IMO, they could've played even greater with Randle on the floor. The Knicks were on a 6 game winning streak and was 12-2 the month before Randle got injured. But even before the arrival of Jalen, the team were starting to flourish under Randle and they became better with the much needed addition. So I guess the Knicks' management will give him that contract. Maybe there will be some movements or trades or they'll just pay the luxury tax in order to keep Randle. But we'll see, maybe Randle is willing to receive less in order to avoid higher luxury taxes.

Yeah, I would agree he deserves the contract extension, I mean evaluate for the value he adds to the team when fit and on the court, he didn't get injured jet-skiing or at home, he got he injured while on the Knicks jersey, occupational hazard, I guess ? So would be discussing if he deserve the contract or not he had been playing all this ? most definitely not, I'd say.
