This new format will be good and any team that emerge to be the winner of either the UEFA Champions League, Europa League or conference league would have followed big strategy that will make them to worth the championship. Football is one game that the rules are seasonally changed to further improve the quality of the game so I'm not surprised that UEFA opted to have a new format in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League competitions but if you ask me, I think this particular change wasn't needed. Personally, I feel the old format that was last used last season was better and less complicating to understand how it works unlike the current one but the good thing about the new format that'll be used for the first time by next season is it allows more teams to have the chance of participating in the two European competitions and k think it's a good one for European football.

The game of football has never changed in terms of the basic rules of the game, but what is happening now is a change in the competition format held by UEFA and not the rules of the football game so we must to be able to differentiate between them, usually every change that occurs in a competition aims to make the competition better in future and I think there may be shortcomings that need to be improved from the old format, whether it is complicated or not to understand the new format of course it's just matter of time and there are not many changes that have occurred in the new format apart from adding participant slots, changing the group phase to the semi phase league and also several other regulations that perhaps we will understand after the first season of the UEFA League with the new format ends at the end of next season.
