This Chelsea new manager to me is confused on what to say concerning the team after losing to Manchester City he still had to come out and say it was because of the pitch on which both teams played on that was why the squad performaned badly and that was why they conceded those goals. I only see a man who will complain at any given opportunity and not a coach that's ready to take the fall for the team and make amends.
Enzo Maresca is one lucky man because if it was the former owner he would have been thinking on how to replace him because he can't even work understand pressure especially when the team is losing, he can't make some changes that would change the outcome of the game to his favor. I don't know how he's going to do it but I hope the players can help him out because the journey of next season is going to be hard for the coach.
For crying out loud this Man was just appointed and he is yet to play any official match with Chelsea as a Club. How many coaches in the world that can play against Pep Guardiola side and get a win? Do you want the man to criticize his players or what do you want him to say. He did the right thing by just attributing the loss to the bad nature of the pitch. Sometimes it is not about the coach, it's also about the players who are not implementing the ideas of the coach correctly that often lead to a loss in a football match. You see this idea of Chelsea always sacking coaches, that's the reason why Chelsea has continued to decline in terms of output on the field. The fans of Chelsea are getting use to seeing their coaches sacked and it's becoming a problem for the Club. Most managers going to Chelsea has this in mind and it's making them not to be fully committed to the club. Because they already knew that they could be sack any moment. The Man won some of his preseason matches, why not give him some credit for that.

Yes it's actually true that his playing style hasn't been implemented in the team right now, and that is the major cause of the struggle of Chelsea this season, but the whole idea of playing with the ball in their front of goal is not ideal in my own perspective, because any slit mistakes will be punished immediately, so am not a fan of that.
The coach will do what he thinks is best for the club and not what an individual thinks is right or not. Enzo Maresca is a coach that's coming from a different world of play that's is different from what the Chelsea fans use to know. Chelsea management brought him to implement a change to the club that will put them in line for success. And for new things to happen, the old culture has to go away. The Man is trying to introduce a possession based football to Stamford bridge, so Chelsea fans will see a different style of football this season, and they just have to trust the process.

And lastly, Todd boehly and co should stop recruiting bunch of kids into the team and start recruiting players that can help the team immediately, or does he thinks the English premier league is an under 21 competition? Let take a look at the backline, they are practically struggling due to the fact that their is no experience player among them, and instead of Todd boehly fixing that,  he is busy gathering kids that wouldn't help the team in any way.

At least you have recognized that part of the struggles that Chelsea is currently facing is because of the kind of players they have in their roster. Todd Boehly wants to have a young squad that will be competitive, but he has failed to understand the nature/demands of the premier league and that's going to worry Chelsea for the upcoming season. But we can't underestimate them until the season finally kicks off, and after few rounds of play, then we will know how strong or weak they are, which will be determined by their position on the league table.
