It is a good result at least to build on till the start of the season. Winning two big friendlies will be a motivation for the entire team and also a boost of confidence which is a good way to start the season although friendlies are not games most teams take seriously but a win is a win though and the most important thing is for it to build and uplift the team spirit.

It’s not that the team don’t take friendlies seriously, and no one judges the performance of a team from preseason games. Alot of players are being tested and even academy graduates are being used so you shouldn’t expect a perfect performance from them but then a win in the pre season will help boost the confidence of a lot of players.
