Players whose goals revolve around hitting the jackpot would begin a new round faster, believing it'll fetch them the jackpot. Hence, gamblers need to be cautious with the goals they want to achieve with gambling. If not, they'll have a difficult time controlling Post-loss speeding.
Money in ones account plays a huge role in this.
A gambler who has a lot of money in their bank account will be susceptible to Post-loss speeding after loosing because they may think that they have enough money to keep gambling or trying to chase the loss. If a gambler also has a lot of money in their account, and they experience near success syndrome, they may decide to gamble as quickly as they loose because they were so close to winning. Post-loss speeding will also affect someone with a limited budget but no discipline, but not someone with a limited or unlimited budget and discipline.
