I think Man United was really unlucky and maybe they will lose in this match, but it's not because of the bad results they got in the friendly games, but because they couldn't play with their best squad, and what makes it worrying is that Man United lost many of their defenders.
Friendly matches cannot be used as a reference because in friendly matches the coach rotates a lot to see the performance of the players. So this match will still be fierce, especially since this is the first Manchester Derby in an official match before starting the new season.
Both teams have their own problems before the match starts, Erik ten Hag has said that their four defenders are doubtful to appear in the match later. But Man United if they win this match will certainly increase their confidence when starting the league later and this will add to Erik Ten Hag's trophy collection.
While Man City has a bad record when competing in the Community Shield, this can be seen in the last few years Man City has not been able to win.
