Never plan for a long term with altcoins, you never know what the project developers plans are for those tokens. Don't go after altcoins with bitcoin investment mentality of long term.

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely comfortable with my Bitcoin holdings, so exploring altcoins feels like the next step. Ether is a solid choice—I’m considering it too.

I've been looking into a few newer projects as well, like Shiba Shootout. It's still early, but the concept is intriguing for me, in DYOR process atm.

You're right about being cautious with long-term investments in altcoins ( especially after the recent market crash ).
