Our tension becomes higher and we don't see a chance to limits ourselves in gambling instead just thinks to chase the wins or recover our lose.

Yes, that is ironic for them because they lose their control and also lose their money in gambling which they can not get it back. Their mistake will be bigger while they can not see what they do that makes them lose much money. Losing our emotion can cause us many bad things such as lose money, greed, addicted to gambling, stress, depress and else. So that is why we must have a strong will to control ourselves in gambling so we don't have to gets the problem and we can enjoy our gambling activity.
