Poch in the last season did a good job where Chelsea won in a row which ended up in 6th place could shift Man United, but now Maresca comes as a new coach this will be difficult again to adjust.

If Chelsea focuses on building up their team with young player, it's a good and sustainable strategy. They are rich and can buy one or some star players to support young players and make a very competitive team. After about 2 decades of spending huge money for transfer and salary, and gaining some success with two Champions League and several Premier League titles, I believe that Chelsea already understood that this is an expensive strategy but not sustainable.

By focusing on and growing up young players, Chelsea will have a very good player resource to use with cheaper investment cost and can have a long future with these young players. Having a good youth academy will be another great foundation for their club success and a more healthier finance.

Building up with youngsters and adding some star players with experience to the squad is a thing but it shouldn't only end with that, the question is would Maresca be able to bring out the best from those youngsters? if he can good for them this season but if not it's going to be bad for Chelsea this season cause Boehly has shown that he's impatient and would sack Maresca if he fails to qualify for the Champions League or win a trophy, winning the Conference League could buy him another season but going trophyless and not making top 4 could get him a sack letter, and that means the players have to learn the strategy of another new manager again. But I expect Maresca to try as much as possible in winning the Conference League if he fails to qualify for the Champions League especially if they succeed in signing Victor Osimhen. However those young growing players would benefit Chelsea for years, that's if they have a very good season with Maresca and development into future stars.
