Altcoin season is definitely here this year Bitcoin price movements are very important for altcoins to rise. The history we need to see is how far the Bitcoin graph will rise this year, whether it is still minimal to reach the altcoin season in the next few months. The thing that I doubt about the halving this time is that only two coins have reached a new ATH, namely bitcoin and ethereum, I think everyone is the same as OP waiting for the altcoin season to arrive.

The future holds for us many surprises, and I hope that the boons of it will be only green for us all. Alts should be rising in a few months, in my opinion.
